The Christmas Season is upon us again...and often I think that it will be the last year for a visit to Santa Claus. I guess this just proves again that you believe what you want to believe....the question is

Do you still believe in Santa????

It was that time of year again. Halloween. Emily always enjoys Halloween and any holiday for that matter! This year she chose to be Sleeping Beauty! She trick or treated all over town and made a killing on candy...most of which she shares. She enjoyed the evening with 2 friends and walking...did I mention walking...all over town! Frozen

Gotta love SNOW in October!!! Emily and Allen are enjoying their romp in the snow piles while I remain inside in the warm! Air is very chilly with a wind chill and we are feeling like -16!

SNOW

SNOW!!!

We awoke this morning to such a beautiful view and several inches of snow. Emily is surely confused as it is going to be Halloween on Friday and it has never snowed this early before in her short life!

SNOWBALL Fight time! Emily plans to make a snowman today too...good packing snow!

Time to be excited for car clean-offs in the early morning and freezing before you are even awake. To think it is only October...how many more months of snow!!!!

Fall has officially peaked here in Davis and the view of the fall colors is amazing. Emily and Sarah recently visited the Blackwater Falls and the park to seek the canyon and view the colors. Emily loves to spend time at the point and climb on the rocks. The weather here is somewhat chilly and often is frosted in the morning. No more shorts and t-shirts...winter is coming soon!

School Started!!!!

School officially started here in Tucker County, West Virginia. Emily attended her first day of kindergarten on September 3, 2008 at Davis-Thomas Elementary and survived the first 2 weeks. She has made several friends and shares that she enjoys gym and art class! Enjoy the photos! Time has flown so quickly for her and it is only the beginning!

School

Today was the adventure of school shopping. We traveled to Keyser, WV and Cumberland, MD to find the needed supplies and success arose with the new High School Musical backpack!!! Hooray. Now only 1 more week at home until kindergarten starts!!!

West Virginia

We finally made the official trip to West Virginia this past week. Like all changes in life...it was filled with wonderful excitement, hectic business, and of course blunders. Sarah and Emily took the trek to Davis on August 2nd for the weekend prior to moving and spent time with the family for the church anniversary picnic. If everything seems like it went good...it did, except the Mazda broke down and was towed to Virginia for repair. The Schwarz family then trekked back to Pennsylvania to retrieve Sarah and Emily's possessions on August 4th! All reports were that it would be easy to move across state lines and that things are meant to go smoothly. The truck rental took 2 extra hours and everyone was exhausted...but WE DID IT! The Schwarz family crashes upon arrival and ends up sick for the past weekend..yucky colds and fevers.

Now onto moving into the house and organizing everything...what a task. One day at a time! We have beds to sleep in and the kitchen table is available to eat at daily. Sarah is liking this quiet town...just gotta fight the shopping bug sometimes :) Take care everyone and will post again soon.

A new start!

This post starts the first of many times I will set out on the new path in my life! I chose to start a blog to help keep everyone posted in the many states we are connected to as a family! Thus, our first post shall include a picture of the day we were married (May 17, 2008) as a reminder of how our new path started in this we call "life"...Allen and Sarah Schwarz
